Louise Mayo is the Chairperson of
the Department of History/Political Science at County College of Morris,
Randolph, N.J., where she has been a professor for the past twenty-three
years. She is the author of The Ambivalent Image (1988) and
numerous articles and papers in the fields of women and minority history.
She has an M.A. from Cornell University in Modern European and Russian
History and a Ph.D. from City University of New York in American history,
specializing in immigration and minority history, She teaches courses
in Twentieth Century America, History of American Women, History of
Minorities, History of American Cities and Suburbs, and Civil War
and Reconstruction.

Doug Cantrell is an Associate Professor
of History at Elizabethtown Community College in Elizabethtown, Kentucky,
where he has taught for 13 years. He holds a B.A. from Berea College
in History and Political Science, an M.A. from the University of Kentucky,
and has completed 30 hours toward the Ph.D. He is the author of numerous
journal and encyclopedia articles in the field of immigration and
ethnic history. Professor Cantrell also teaches Kentucky and American
History courses on the web and is the socials science discipline leader
for the Kentucky Commonwealth Virtual University. He is listed in
Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World, and Who's
Who in the South and Southwest. He is a former editor and past
president of the Kentucky Association Teachers of History.

Alison P. Brown is an Associate
Professor in the Department of Economics, Government and History at
Union County College in Cranford, New Jersey where she has taught
history and philosophy for the past eight years. She received an M.A.
and Ph.D. from Cornell University in Modern European Intellectual
History, specializing in German social theory and philosophy. She
teaches survey courses in American history, Civil War and Reconstruction,
the History of Western Civilization, as well as Introduction to Philosophy
and Logic and Critical Thinking.

Christiane Warren is the Area Coordinator
of the History Area at Warren County Community College (WCCC) in Washington,
New Jersey. She serves as the on-campus liaison of The New Jersey
Project for the promotion of Gender and Racial Inclusiveness in Teaching
at WCCC. She has presented several papers at regional conferences
on topic regarding the ante-bellum American abolitionist movement
as well as on issues in Women's History. She has an M.A. from Drew
University in Madison, New Jersey, in Modern History and Literature,
and is currently writing her doctoral dissertation in American Intellectual
History on Anna Julia Cooper, also at Drew University. She teaches
courses in American History, Twentieth Century Global History, Women's
History, History of Minorities and Modern European History. |
